MGR were Sub Contracted in by one of their returning clients to handle an asset recovery job on a site which they were clearing on behalf of SEPA, the works included full cleaning of the redundant tanks & crane operations to lift off site for Transportation to their new end user.
MGR were appointed Principal Contractor on behalf of Muir Construction to clear the site and enable Muir to extend their timber engineering yard. The services consisted of Asbestos Removal, Dismantling of steel frame building & on site crushing, the work commenced September 2017 & are scheduled to be complete before the years end.
MGR were asked by a returning client to take care of their dismantling requirements in regard to this blast furnace, MGR will dismantle this & prepare full technical drawings for reuse at a later date.
In March 2017, MGR were appointed the contract on behalf of a private land developer to clear their site in Possilpark for regeneration. The works consisted of dismantling 2 steel frame buildings, Demolition of boundary walls which all neighboured onto live environments & on-site crushing. Both buildings were then loaded away & off to start their new lives in Ireland at a Transport & Engineering Firm. These works were completed in July 2017.
In June 2017 MGR were appointed Sub Contractor via Nicholson Contracts under Ogilvie Construction to assist in the site clearance at Hens Nest Road, our work consisted of dismantling 2 steel frame buildings & removing off site to allow Nicholson to begin lifting the concrete slab & carry out on site crushing. Both our buildings were moved down to Wales & re erected at a fabrication firm’s premises. This is one of many joint projects MGR have assisted Nicholson with in 2017.
